We’re in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure quality food preparation, smooth kitchen workflow, and uphold the highest standards in hygiene, taste, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
🔸 Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
🔸 Supervise the preparation and presentation of both local and international dishes
🔸 Plan production activities and coordinate kitchen staff for timely meal service
🔸 Monitor portion control, food quality, and presentation consistency
🔸 Maintain inventory accuracy and cost control by working with storekeepers and vendors
🔸 Enforce hygiene practices, kitchen discipline, and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP)
Requirements 🔸 Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role
🔸 Strong knowledge of food production, local and international cuisine
🔸 Excellent skills in kitchen planning, supervision, and time management
🔸 Familiarity with food safety standards and HACCP compliance
🔸 Ability to lead kitchen teams, conduct briefings, and maintain discipline
🔸 Good organizational skills with attention to cost and quality control
SALARY: ₦150,000 – ₦250,000
