Overview:

An auxiliary nurse supports the senior nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care. This is a hands-on role that focuses on the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, attentive, and has a strong desire to help others.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹Take and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate, and report any changes to the nursing staff.

🔹Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. This includes changing bed linens and sanitizing equipment.

🔹Assist patients with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, and mobility.

🔹Document patient care activities and observations accurately in patient charts or electronic health records.

🔹Follow all health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures and patient privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).


Requirements:

🔹 A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or a similar training program is highly preferred.

🔹Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting is a plus.

🔹Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures is a benefit.

🔹Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to care for others.

🔹Excellent communication and presentation skills.


SALARY : NGN70,000 (Negotiable)
