The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing clean, fresh linens and garments for guests and staff by operating and maintaining laundry equipment. This role ensures that all items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the hotel’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.

• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, etc.) safely and efficiently.

• Inspect items for stains, tears, and damage; report any issues to the supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.

• Ensure that all linens and uniforms meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Handle guests’ personal laundry requests promptly and with care.

• Keep accurate records of linen inventory and report shortages.

• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.

• Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry is an advantage.

• Skills:

  • Attention to detail and cleanliness.

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

  • Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and safety procedures.

  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
