The Hotel Barman is responsible for preparing, mixing, and serving beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. The role ensures that guests enjoy an exceptional bar experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service at the bar.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware.

Check identification to verify customers meet legal drinking age requirements.

Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.

Restock bar inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies.

Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.

Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.

Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, hotel promotions, and menu offerings.

Work closely with restaurant and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.
Requirements:

Education: Minimum of SSCE; additional training or certification in bartending or hospitality is an advantage.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a bartender or barman in a hotel, bar, or restaurant.

Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.
