The Hotel Barman is responsible for preparing, mixing, and serving beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. The role ensures that guests enjoy an exceptional bar experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and product quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service at the bar.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to hotel recipes and guest preferences.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware.

  • Check identification to verify customers meet legal drinking age requirements.

  • Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Restock bar inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies.

  • Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.

  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.

  • Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, hotel promotions, and menu offerings.

  • Work closely with restaurant and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.


Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of SSCE; additional training or certification in bartending or hospitality is an advantage.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a bartender or barman in a hotel, bar, or restaurant.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.

    • Good personal grooming and presentation.

    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

    • Honest, reliable, and energetic personality.

    • Basic numeracy and POS handling skills.


      SALARY: Negotiable based on experience
