The Clinic Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, patients, medical supplies, and documents for the clinic. The driver ensures that all driving activities are carried out in compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive clinic staff, patients, and visitors to and from designated locations.

  • Transport medical supplies, laboratory samples, and equipment securely and promptly.

  • Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.

  • Perform routine checks on vehicle systems such as oil, water, brakes, tires, and lights.

  • Promptly report any vehicle faults, damages, or required maintenance to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.

  • Assist with loading and unloading medical supplies or equipment when required.

  • Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations at all times.

  • Support emergency transport duties, including the movement of patients to hospitals or referral centers when necessary.

  • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity when transporting patients or handling medical-related documents.

  • Follow all clinic protocols and represent the organization with professionalism and courtesy.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience (preferably in a medical or corporate setting).

  • Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

  • Physically fit and able to assist with lifting light medical equipment or supplies.

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call duties

  • Calm under pressure, especially in emergency situations


    SALARY: 70,000 ( Monthly ) and Above

    LOCATION: Ogui, Enugu State.
